Transurb provides technical assistance in Morocco to ONCF in ERTMS Knowledge Management.
Context
The need for a learning management system became apparent for the ONCF, the Moroccan National Railways Office, during the deployment of ERTMS on their network. The operation concerns the High-Speed Line Tanger-Kenitra (ERTMS level 2) and conventional lines (ERTMS level 1).
Hence, ONCF decided to implement an ERTMS Centre of Excellence in the mid-term.
Transurb Mission
Transurb will assist ONCF in mastering the competencies related to the ERTMS system (onboard, trackside and overall integration).
In particular, Transurb will support ONCF as follows:
- Establish an ERTMS competence network at ONCF
- Review and update the existing organization to comply with ERTMS technical challenges and subsequently suggest an optimal organization chart that suits ONCF
- Establish the technical skills and competencies per technical domain
- Define a specific training plan supporting the ERTMS deployment
