Context
Infrabel, the manager of the Belgian rail infrastructure, is currently implementing a step-by-step deployment of ETCS on its railway network. The objective of this Master Plan is to have equipped the entire network with a combination of ETCS Level 1 Full Supervision, ETCS Level 1 Limited Supervision, and ETCS Level 2 Full Supervision.
Transurb’s Mission
Transurb has been assisting Infrabel in the achievement of this objective since 2009. Additional resource in project management has now been added to oversee a specific Level 2 Full Supervision ETCS roll-out project, from the kick-off and creation of the project team, to the follow-up of the timing, budget and deliverables, up to the certification of the L2 roll-out.
